It’s almost 2022, which means it’s time to start thinking about your New Year’s reading resolutions!
- Not sure where to start? Stop by the AHS library and browse your favorite genre section, or ask Ms. Dragoo or Ms. Peters for a reading recommendation.
- Invite a friend to read the same book and make a date to discuss it when you’re both done.
- Turn off social media for 30 minutes a day and escape into a book. It’ll improve your life.
- Pick an author, genre, or subject you like and read as many books in that category as you can.
- Check out the library’s collection of eBooks and audiobooks to read or listen to on your phone.
Happy reading!

Hello, My sister and I are going through documents from our mother who died at 89 years old last summer. She attended your school around 1945, and left a scrapbook of many items from her days there, including a booklet called Yucca. Would you be interested in having this scrapbook for your archives?
Hello Ms. Barrett, I’m so sorry for your loss. Thank you for this offer. We would be happy to add your mother’s items to our archives. Are you in Albuquerque? Please e-mail me at dragoo@aps.edu if you would like to discuss how to get the items to us.
