ABC-CLIO’s 5 online databases cover world and U.S. history, government, religion, culture, economics, and controversial issues.  They are easy to use and continually updated to help students become better critical thinkers and more effective researchers.

B_schoolBritannica School provides continually updated articles, primary-source material, multimedia, links to expert websites, and ebooks. The homepage offers a world atlas; biography center; a “Compare Countries” tool; guides for creating book reviews, research papers, and science reports; and “My Britannica” personal account feature for saving and sharing resources.

CultureGrams helps researchers discover the world with concise cultural and statistical snapshots of every country recognized by the United Nations.  Features include video clips and slideshows, interviews, and a unique recipe collection with five local recipes for each country.

Gale Databases (English/Spanish translatable) offer a virtual library of  information from a variety of scholarly and popular sources in all academic areas.  Some of the individual databases students may find most helpful are:
